Signs with No Punctuation

This is from the Tate Liverpool...

To my mind it's on a par with "Slow Children" signs at schools. I'm trying to imagine doors keeping on walking...

:) I quite like 'Stop Children Crossing' signs as well. And there's my old favourite from a building site in Ely (I've seen similar ones since elsewhere), which has nothing to do with punctuation but is still a splendid testament to... well... something: 'Your safety starts here'.

I saw a sign at Broxbourne station ticket office at the weekend that read:

"Sorry"
Position Closed.

Does that mean that they're not really sorry then?
